- 1). Set your clothes iron to dry heat on medium temperature.
- 2). Spread two layers of paper towels on top of the candle wax and surrounding area. The towels on the surrounding area will prevent the iron from scorching your carpet or clothing.
- 3). Place the iron on top of the paper towels and press with a circular motion. Check the towels for wax absorption.
- 4). Replace the paper towels as needed to allow the wax to absorb into a clean spot on the towels.
- 5). Continue to replace the paper towels until all of the wax has lifted.
