How to Remove Two-Sided Tape
- 1). Use a hairdryer to apply medium heat to the two-sided tape. This will loosen the adhesive.
- 2). Use a putty knife or flat-head screwdriver to pry the two-sided tape off the wall, window or other surface. Use care when prying off the tape so you don't cause damage to the surface being held by the tape.
- 3). Alternate between the application of medium heat and carefully prying off the tape until the adhesive bond has been broken.
- 4). Use an adhesive-removal product to remove any remaining tape on the surfaces where the tape was attached.
