The Development of the Microscope
An object that is observed under microscope can be immortalized by using camera.
A compound microscope that has two ocular lenses is usually completed with the lens part for camera.
Technology as the work result of human always experiences the developments.
Simple microscope and several other optical microscopes are only able to enlarge the object of about 100-1000 times, whereas electron microscope technology can be enlarged up to 1 million times.
Based on the illumination system, this equipment is divided into two, namely optical and non-optical microscope.
a.
Optical microscope Its magnification process of objects uses normal light (visible light).
It includes compound, binocular, and also stereoscopy binocular microscope which produces the image of 3 dimensions, and ultraviolet microscopy.
b.
Non-optical microscope It amplifies the objects by being helped by the short wavelength radiation.
It includes X-ray, ion, and electron microscope.
Among the three types of non-optical microscope, the most widely used is electron microscope.
Through the electron one, you can learn the patterns of animal cells, plants, and bacteria.
It is also used in analyzing the result of industry and controlling the production result.
The electron microscope is a microscope that is able to perform the magnification of objects up to 2 million times.
It uses electro-static and electro magnetic to control the lighting and the display of images.
It also has the zoom ability and resolution that is much better than light microscopy.
In this case, it uses more energy and shorter electromagnetic radiation than the light microscope.
