How to Fix Flickering Lights in My Home
- 1). Turn the light off by pressing the light switch to the "Off" position.
- 2). Wait 10 to 15 minutes for the light bulb to cool down.
- 3). Twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove.
- 4). Locate the starter, which is a round plug that sticks out through a hole the size of a quarter inside the housing.
- 5). Pop the starter out and take to a hardware store to find the appropriate replacement part.
- 6). Pop the new starter into the light housing and screw the light bulb back into place.
- 7). Turn the light on and enjoy constant, non-flickering light.
