Instructions for Small Scratches

• 1). Dust the scratched area.
  
  
• 2). Mix wood floor cleaner according to directions and mop the entire floor.
  
  
• 3). Allow the floor to completely dry.
  
  
• 4). Color in the scratches with your stain marker. You may need to mix two colors to get the right shade. Allow to dry. The scratches should no longer be visible.
  
  

Instructions for Larger Scratches

• 1). Dust away any dirt and debris from the scratched area.
  
  
• 2). Rough the area of the scratch with a piece of fine grit sand paper. Use gentle pressure and always work with the grain of the wood.
  
  
• 3). Apply a liberal amount of mineral spirits to your wash cloth.
  
  
• 4). Apply the mineral spirits in a circular motion to the scratched area of the wood.
  
  
• 5). Apply wax to the area that was scratched.
  
  
• 6). Buff off the wax. You floor should now be scratch free.
