    • 1). Plug your wireless printer into power. Use the included Ethernet cable to temporarily connect it to one of your computers on the wireless network.

    • 2). Insert the printer manufacturer's software installation disk into your computer. Choose to install the drivers and any recommended utilities from the auto-run menu that appears on your screen. Each manufacturer has a slightly different installer but most run along the same lines. Agree to the license agreement and click "Next" until you reach a window asking you what connection type you want for your printer. Choose "Wireless" and continue clicking "Next" until the installation completes.

    • 3). Go to your wireless printer. Look for the setup or network setup option on the printer's display screen. Choose this selection.

    • 4). Take the Ethernet cable out of the printer. Select "Wireless Setup Wizard." Choose "OK." Select your wireless network name, also known as the SSID, from the list of available wireless networks. Enter the password for the network if applicable. Press "OK."

    • 5). Go back to the wireless network computer that has the printer software. Go to "Start," "Control Panel" and "Printers" to see if your wireless printer is detected. Click "Add A Printer" if it is not. Choose "A network printer, or printer attached to another computer" and click "Next." Click "Browse for a Printer" and click "Next. Select your wireless printer. Click "Next." Set the default status of your wireless printer and click "Next." Click "Finish."
