Disable Weave Extension

• 1). Open the Firefox browser and type “about:config” into the address bar. Press “Enter” and then click on the “I'll Be Careful” button.
  
  
• 2). Type “OpenID” into the “Filter” text box.
  
  
• 3). Right-click on “extension.weave.OpenID.enabled” under the Preferences Name column. Click on the option for “Toggle.” This will change the value from “Enabled” to “Disabled.”
  
  
• 4). Repeat this process to disable the Weave extension on older versions of Firefox.
  
  

Disable Firefox Sync

• 1). Click on the “Firefox” button in the upper right of the screen. Highlight “Options” and click “Options” in the menu.
  
  
• 2). Click on the “Sync” button at the top of the window. Click the link near the bottom of the window for “Deactivate This Device.”
  
  
• 3). Click “Yes” to confirm that you want to disable the device. Repeat this process to disable Firefox Sync on another machine.
