- 1). Visit the Division of Family and Children Services website and access the COMPASS online tool (see Resources).
- 2). Click "Apply for Benefits" and click the "Start a New Application" radio button. Click "Next."
- 3). Select "Fulton" from the "Where You Live" drop-down menu. Select the appropriate answers from the drop-down menu in the "Program Income Limits" section. Click "Next."
- 4). Click the "Create an Account" radio button and click "Next." Complete the registration for a new account. You will need to select a user name and password.
- 5). Log in to your account and check the "Food Stamp Program" box. Click "Next."
- 6). Complete the online application. Provide Social Security numbers, birth dates and income information for each member of your household.
- 7). Double-check your food stamps application and click "Submit." Write down the confirmation number for your application.
