- 1). Cut open a brown paper grocery bag, and lay it flat onto a tabletop.
- 2). Measure an 8-by-24- inch rectangle on the brown paper bag using a ruler, then cut out the rectangle with scissors. Arrange the brown paper rectangle horizontally onto the tabletop.
- 3). Insert a hot glue stick into a hot glue gun, then plug the hot glue gun into a wall outlet to heat up for five minutes.
- 4). Squeeze a line of hot glue along one of the short edges of the paper rectangle. Press a wooden dowel along the glue-covered edge. Allow the hot glue to cool and harden for two minutes.
- 5). Squeeze a line of hot glue along the other short edge of the paper rectangle. Press a second wooden dowel along the glue-covered edge. Allow the hot glue to cool and harden for two minutes.
- 6). Curl the two dowels toward the center of the paper rectangle to complete the scroll.
