Secure Materials

• 1). Place objects of similar size and shape in rows across the pallet. Do not extend your materials over the edges. For example, boxes of the same height are set across the pallet, with edges of the boxes set just inside the pallet edge.
  
  
• 2). Stack materials or boxes to the desired height on the pallet. Boxes should be packed firmly, stacked to create four or five rows high.
  
  
• 3). Wrap odd-shaped materials after stacking the first layer, then continue with each layer to reach the desired height. Wrapping each layer creates a stable pallet for shipping.
  
  
• 4). Begin wrapping the materials at the base, securing the shrink wrap to the pallet edge and wrapping around to the beginning. Continue wrapping to the top, ensuring all areas are covered in shrink wrap securely.
  
  
• 5). Place labels on all four sides of the pallet using either shipping labels or a sheet of paper and enclose in the last layer of shrink wrap.
