Different food grains are used in different parts of the world but there are some very common grains that are grown and are eaten in every part. Rice is one of those common grains that are frequently used and heartedly taken in meals though in variety of dishes. Basmati Rice is the best kind of rice because of its immaculate qualities. It is the top quality rice that is especially famous for the appetizing aroma it has with the taste of long grains. It is grown in the fertile land of Subcontinent pluvial areas as it requires more water particularly in the early time after the cultivation. Pakistan Basmati Rice is well known allover the world for its peculiar fine taste and unsurpassed quality.

Though it has been tried to be cultivated in other parts of the world but the taste and other features of same quality can not be successfully attained. That is why Basmati Rice of Pakistan and its neighboring country still rule the world market of rice. Various kinds of this species are also introduced by the researchers of this crop. Along with other benefits its nutritional value is of great importance that is why it is quite often found on the dinning table.

The role of rice mills is a vital one as through them the raw product of paddy fields is turned into a palatable ready to cook or boil commodity for the people. Numerous phases are there through which rice in the form of paddy go and then the grains of the same size are separated by a machine so that this can be packed. Polishing of it is also done to make it more presentable. Brown and white basmati rice is available in the market. The later one is considered of better quality because of the appearance. As Basmati Rice of fine quality is only cultivated in Pakistan and adjoining country so it is exported to other parts of the world from here and always welcome because of its non availability in these countries. In large quantities it has been exported to Middle East, Europe and USA.

Irrigation resources need to be improved for this crop in particular so that high per acre production can be yielded. In the last year inability to run tube wells due to power shortage mar rice production on a large scale but in time rains made compensation and saved the farmers. A new advancement is also in view that allow the famers to grow this grain with great ease. The research institutes for this are working to improve per acre yield that would certainly encourage farmers to grow it and earn more money for their hard work.
