As you read this article I don't know exactly what type of marketing for your home based business you are involved in but if you are like a lot of other network marketers you're probably spending a good amount of time on the phone.
If you're someone who is always talking to prospects on the phone it can be easy to think of it as just getting through the numbers.
Dialing and dialing just hoping that one or two will be interested but not really putting too much stake into each phone call because they all don't really matter right? Well that's partly right.
It's important not to let all the "no's" that you're going to hear drag you down because that can be really frustrating.
However, every single time you talk to someone on the phone about your business you need to make sure that you remember that that phone call is extremely important.
You never know who your next superstar is going to be.
It could be someone who you would have never guessed.
A lot of times the top earners in MLM aren't the ones who people might have expected to do well.
You never know who you're on the phone with so treat each and every call like it's worth a million dollars! This is the reason why I always tell people that if they're in a crappy mood or they don't feel well they shouldn't be on the phone with prospects.
You don't want to miss out on signing someone up because you weren't 100% invested in the phone call.
If you need to wait until you're in a better place to call someone do it because you never get a second chance to make a great first impression.
With calling prospects it is so much about getting through the numbers and dialing number after number after number that sometime we can forget that every number you dial could be the number that changes your business forever.
So make sure before you pick up the phone that you're really ready to talk to someone who could make you and ton on money.
When it comes to calling prospects every single phone call is important.
