If you spend any time perusing the business section you know that credit, in all its various forms is something that the world runs on and is something that many people use day in and day out.
Of course, credit is one reason why the economy is in the state that it is in.
As such, you may be thinking that any offers that you receive should be viewed with suspicion.
But the question of whether or not credit cards are good or bad is really a non-issue.
Consider for a moment that this type of financial tool is just that: a tool.
It is neither good nor bad and it is up to us and how we use it that determines what we eventually think about it.
Remember that credit can be used to start and expand business, to help a family member out with debt or bills, and it can also be used to buy things you don't need that you normally could not afford if you wanted to pay cash for them.
However, avoiding credit may not be the best policy.
The reason for this of course is that you can use it to do things like buy property to set up recurring income and of course you must have some credit history to even consider applying for a mortgage.
Credit cards can have somewhat of a bad reputation simply because of things like high interest rates however, consider that most people do not take the time to read the fine print when they sign the contract.
As such, ultimately this is something that is completely up to you and it is your responsibility to understand what you are signing and what your obligations are.
