Most demand comes from large businesses that need cross-continent, multi-time-zone Internet connections, making it possible to send and receive information constantly to improve productivity and cash flow. - People today use the Internet for banking, paying bills, shopping, research, sales, news and much more; making sure an Internet connection is available anywhere at anytime is important for many people.

With more people than ever using social networks (such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Digg), "seamless" can also refer to how the Internet is used--sharing videos, pictures, animation, comments and Web pages between different websites with a single click. - In 2009, Chrysler released their UConnect system, which adds seamless Internet capability for their vehicles.
