- 1). Reload your last saved game before the trash can disappeared or became irreparably dirty through a meteor strike. If you do not have a recently saved version of the game, continue to the next step.
- 2). Save your game under a new name if your trash can has disappeared. Quit your game. Load the new game you just saved. The trash can should have regenerated. If not, continue to the next step.
- 3). Visit the website daydream.etowns.net. Click on the Sims 2 icon. Click on mods/hacks. Download the Lot Setup Collection mod. Download this mod in the Sims 2 folder hierarchy under the folder called Collections. Unzip it. Open Sims 2 and your saved game with the messed up trash can. Click on the SEDD Lot Set Up icon. Buy a new outdoor trash can.
