- 1). Locate the icon on the desktop or under "Computer" you wish to change and right-click on it.
- 2). Select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
- 3). Click on the "Customize" tab at the top of the "Properties" window.
- 4). Press the "Change icon" button.
- 5). Click on "Browse" to locate the icon file you wish to replace the original icon with.
- 6). Choose "Open" to select the icon file.
- 7). Click "Ok" to change the icon.
