Go Forth and Leverage Your Articles!

103 7
When you write an article, it can often take quite a bit of time to first stare at a blank screen, procrastinate, write a few words, agonize over the direction it's taking and then, finally, reach a satisfactory conclusion.
Some days, writing an article seems excruciatingly painful and takes you so long.
Right? So instead of starting over from scratch each time, leverage the articles you've already written to the hilt.
Squeeze every last breath out of them before you put them on the shelf.
The easiest article in the world to leverage is a tips or bulleted list.
So let's start with that.
Let's say you want to write about what type of material an internet marketer can use for an opt-in promotion.
Wow, you can probably come up with 10 or 15 things.
Make these bullet points and then add your introduction and conclusion.
Bam.
That's your article.
Now what should you do with it? That's up to you, but you could start with it as a blog post on your internet marketing blog.
Add in some affiliate links for products that might help people learn how to create the different opt-in ideas.
Remember all those bullet points? Take 3 of them and write one email for your list of email subscribers.
You can show your expertise by going into a little detail about each of the 3 points.
You can also create an autoresponder series, or an ecourse, by detailing each one in an email.
Make this a series of 7 or 10 by taking the best ones and adding an affiliate link to promote a product that will help them learn how to do what your email is about.
Next consider rewriting the original into something you can submit to EzineArticles directory to help build your brand, your reach.
If you've gotten some good feedback on it, like when you posted it to your blog, consider sharing it with everyone on your favorite forum.
Of course, it's got to be a right fit for that particular forum.
Consider putting a blurb, through one of the plugins that will do this automatically, at the end of each of your blog posts allowing people to repost your posts on their blogs or send to their list as long as they don't change it in anyway and add a link to your site.
One blog post, more people reading it.
Gather up your articles on a same general topic and turn them into an eBook or report.
You can give it away to build your list or give it to those already subscribed as a goodwill gesture.
See how once you have something to start with, you can make it go a lot farther? This is working smarter, not harder, and something internet marketers need to take advantage of.
There are a lot more ways you can take once piece of content and squeeze every last bit of traffic-getting juice from it.
