- 1). Disable System Restore. To do so, right-click the "Computer" or "My Computer" icon on your desktop and select Properties. Go to the "System Protection" tab, click "Configure" and check "Turn Off System Restore."
- 2). Restart your computer.
- 3). Right-click the V-shield icon in the bottom-right tray of your computer.
- 4). Select "VirusScan Console."
- 5). Click "Full Scan" and then "Start."
- 6). Select "Repair" to remove the BO:Heap virus when prompted.
- 7). Reboot your computer.
- 8). Re-enable System Restore by unchecking the box you checked in Step 1.
