- 1). Click the Applications folder on the dock. A new window opens and displays a list of applications installed on the computer.
- 2). Open the Utilities folder in the Applications window and select "Network Utility."
- 3). Click the Ping tab at the top of the Network Utility window.
- 4). Type the Web address or network address of the computer you want to ping in the text box at the top of the window.
- 5). Click the "Send Only _ Pings" button and enter the number of pings you want to send.
- 6). Click "Ping." The results are displayed at the bottom of the window.
