- 1). Download and install a conversion software program such as Format Factory or AoA Converter.
- 2). Open the program and convert your DVD into a video file designed for the Creative Zen player. In Format Factory, for example, you would start by clicking on the "DVD" tab.
- 3). Click on "DVD to Video File." Click on the drop-down menu and select "Mobile Device." Then click on "Output Settings" and choose the one for Creative Zen. Click "OK."
- 4). Click "Convert" to convert the DVD to the appropriate video file.
- 5). Hook up your Creative Zen to your computer with the USB cord. Click "Open" among the options that pop up in a new window on your computer. Click and drag the file you just converted to the Creative Zen file to download it onto the player.
