These Are Amazing Feats by Amazing Dogs That Are Unique to Dogs

103 3
This article is about some amazing dogs doing some amazing things that I recently came across in the local papers.
The first is about a Rottweiler who has apparently adopted a rabbit, a hamster and a cat.
She looks after them as though she gave birth to them.
On further investigation, I have uncovered some strange and bazaar things that dogs do to empress love for their owners or just to relieve the boredom.
As another example, a lady loss a 100 year old diamond ring heirloom.
After searching all day for it with no luck, she decided to use a metal detector to search some more.
Can you guess where of all places she discovered the diamond ring? She discovered the ring in her 6 month old cocker spaniel's belly.
This would have been killed it if it had gone to relieve itself, because of the three prong diamond settings of the ring.
It was taken to the vet, who determined that it had to have an operation to get it out.
The next tale is stranger than fiction and might be a bit hard to believe, but stranger things have happened.
This one is about amazing dogs on death row, with one in particular locked up for eight and a half years and has the strangest name that I have ever come across.
It was a Lhasa Apso named 'Word' living in Washington USA and was locked up on the 14th of May 1993.
He was locked up in an animal control centre because of alleged biting.
He was released on the 10th November 2001 and taken to a pig's sanctuary in Washington DC.
It is beyond me why anyone would want to know this bit of trivia, but do you know how many tennis balls your dog can hold in its' mouth without killing itself of course? Well according to the World's record holder Angie a golden retriever from Dallas, it is five and apparently she gathered them up by herself on the 6th of July 2003.
Another amazing fact that I wouldn't want my dogs doing, is rolling down a non electric car glass while the car is going.
Apparently a Border Collie named Stinker achieved this new record in Canada on September 1st 2004 by doing it in 11.
34 seconds.
This next story has to do with the jumping abilities of your dog, which ask the question of how high your dog can jump? My two Rottweilers can jump over three feet fences, however, on the 31st of January 2005 in Florida, a dog with the very nice name of 'Heaven Sent Brandy' achieved the amazing height of almost 6 feet.
Cinderella May A Holly Grey at the incredible dog challenge national finals cleared 172.
7cm or 68 inches or around 5 feet 8 inches on October 7th 2006.
Although these are amazing feats by amazing dogs and they are plenty more not yet told.
I am sure that you would agree that they are pale compared to the amazing feat of the talking dog video that is on the net.
