Bozo's creator, Capitol Records producer Alan Livingston, conceived the first interactive kiddie record in 1946, starring a clown with a red-winged hairdo.

Livingston went on to sign the Beatles to Capitol Records. He also worked with the Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra and many other stars.
