- 1). Plug the 3.5mm end of the cable into the "Line-Out" port of the laptop. This is typically where a pair of headphones connects to the computer.
- 2). Insert the red and white RCA ends of the cable into the "Audio In" connection ports on the back of the stereo receiver.
- 3). Turn on the stereo receiver and press the "Aux" button. This represents the RCA cable connection.
