Exercise will also help you to sleep better and improve your feelings of self-esteem, that may currently be devastated.
3--Eat the right foods in a balanced and sufficient diet.
Try not to starve yourself or overeat to somehow compensate or cope with your loss.
4--Spend as much time as possible with friends.
As they will allow, try to talk to your friends about the breakup, but also do not overly fixate on what has happened.
Talk about other things and engage in activities with friends that will take your mind off of your separation for a past lover.
5--Try to get as close to 8 hours of sleep as possible.
Put yourself in a position each evening to have this opportunity, retiring early enough to at least potentially get adequate rest.
Sleep may be difficult, but give yourself the chance to sleep.
Don't stay up till all hours of the night dwelling on the negative.
