- 1). Remove the cap from the tube of Benzodent ointment. Using the point of the cap, break the foil seal located on the tube.
- 2). Remove the dentures from the mouth. Clean the dentures with a denture-safe toothpaste. Use a soft toothbrush to gently cleanse the gums and stimulate blood flow.
- 3). Apply a small dot of ointment directly onto the affected sore spot or onto the area of the denture that comes into contact with the sore spot.
- 4). Insert the dentures back into the mouth. Benzodent can be used up to four times daily or as directed by the dentist to relieve pain.
