CD Version

• A Norton Internet Security CD purchased from a retailer or the online Norton store has the product key on the back of the CD envelope. When the program comes pre-installed on a new computer, the product key is included with the installation CD.
  
  

Downloaded Program

• If you downloaded Norton Internet Security, the product key is in your purchase confirmation email. You can also log onto the Norton website and look up the order details.
  
  

Locate a Product Key Online

• Visit the Symantec website and access your Norton account using your registered email and password. Locate your Norton product in the registered products box and click on it. A box containing the product key and other program information will open.
  
  

Other Product Key Locations

• Older versions of Norton Internet Security display the product key within the program itself. Launch the program and click on the "Help and Support" menu. Select "About" to display the product key. Newer versions display the serial number, rather than the product key, in this location.
