- 1). Tie the two pairs of pantyhose together loosely, right below the crotch. Feed the pole through the center of the knot. Pull the knot tight and secure the pantyhose to the pole with the rubber band.
- 2). Clean underneath the refrigerator and other appliances with the pantyhose. The stockings should attract and cling to dust and hairs. Hold the pantyhose over the trash can periodically and clear them of dust balls and other debris.
- 3). When finished cleaning, remove the pantyhose from the pole. If they're old or worn, throw them away. If they're still relatively new, clear the debris from them and hand wash them with gentle detergent. Hang them to dry, then reattach them to the pole.
