Voice Data Entry

• Voice data entry is the process of using voice recognition software to enter data points into the fields of a database or program. This lets you enter data quickly without typing, keeping your hands free for other tasks and reducing repetitive-stress injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome that may be associated with manual data entry. You can still use the keyboard if necessary to correct spelling or to enter words that the voice recognition software can't decipher, though many voice recognition software options include voice-activated correction and spelling options.
