How to Make Masquerade Party Masks

    • 1). Heat up your hot glue gun and insert a stick of glue into the back of the gun. Glue the top of the chopstick or wooden dowel to one side of your mask, on the back.

    • 2). Spray paint one side of your mask and stick combination, spraying evenly and lightly. Allow the paint to dry and spray it with a second coat; after that coat has dried, turn over the mask and spray the other side. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 3). Lay your lace over the mask's face. Cut the lace to fit around the mask, leaving a small border. Spray the front of the mask with adhesive; spray inside a cardboard box so you don't get the adhesive everywhere. Attach the lace to the front of the mask, pressing it down to evenly apply it. Trim away any excess around the border of the mask.

    • 4). Cut your ribbons to the length of your stick; you can go longer or shorter depending on the look you want. Glue the ends of the ribbons over the point where the mask meets the stick, allowing the ribbons to hang over the length of the stick. Glue a decorative jewel over the top end of the ribbons to cover your work.

    • 5). Line the border of the front of your mask with hot glue. Lay sequin trim over the hot glue. Glue some feathers to the back of your mask so that they peek out from behind the mask and are visible from the front.

    • 6). Glue on more jewels, feathers and sequins according to your tastes.
