The Senate is getting ready to work on the "Stimulus Fiasco Bill" that has now grown to $1.
2 Trillion including the interest, from the "meager" $819 Billion the House passed a few days ago.
Remember, the House version was written by Nancy Pelosi and DID NOT INCLUDE ANY INPUT FROM REPUBLICANS.
Even though the House deleted a couple non-job-creation-related programs from the bill to appease the Republicans, there still was no actual input from them in drafting the bill.
I was so proud of the House Republicans for voting unanimously against the bill and sticking up for conservative issues.
Great job, guys and gals! This had to be blow to Obama who wanted to get a bi-partisan bill with 80% support from Republicans.
The reason he wants this bill is becoming more and more clear to us all the time, because this is not a stimulus bill; it is a "one-big-entitlement bill".
Now it's up to the Republicans in the Senate to cut the Pork, add to the tax cuts, and get a true stimulus bill instead.
Obama and other Democrats are trying their best to sell this bill to the public.
On February 2nd, Obama said that this will be a good solid bill with no earmarks attached.
Duh! No one needs to attach any earmarks.
That's what the majority of the bill is - earmarks.
It's payback time to anyone who helped the Democrats win, and a method for them to put into the bill what is normally added as earmarks.
This bill is a good way to get a good fattening meal of pork chops, and believe me, folks, everyone who could got in line.
Further, Obama, has pledged over and over that his administration will be transparent.
Duh! He must feel the American public is easily duped.
Included in the bill are almost all of his campaign promises, such as nationalizing healthcare, more government control over education, and socializing American commerce.
It spends billions on carbon capture products, whatever that is and hundreds of millions on global warming research.
The absolute worst is the $4.
19 billion to Acorn - THE VERY GROUP THAT IS UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR REGISTRATION FRAUD IN ABOUT FIFTEEN STATES - THE VERY GROUP THAT DID IT'S BEST TO SEE THAT OBAMA GOT ELECTED, EVEN ILLEGALLY IF NECESSARY.
One more example: A Democratic pundit on Fox and Friends (2/2/09) said that both Democrats and Republicans have added to the pork in the stimulus bill.
Duh! How could Republicans have added pork when they were not allowed to have any say in the bill's content? IT IS A DEMOCRAT BILL, PURE AND SIMPLE.
I urge everyone to call their Senators and urge them to vote NO on this bill, at least in its current form.
Tell these elected lawmakers that we have not been fooled and the bill either needs to be changed or needs to be dumped.
Urge every Republican Senator to stand together as the House did and vote for Conservative Economic Issues.
