DIY Tools are instruments, appliances, devices, machines, utensils, gizmos, whatchamacallits that are used to help complete a task. In relevance to this tools are all of the above when participating in a trade akin to property. That would include plumbing, joinery, electrics, building, decorating and gardening.

Other tools can be used in other categories, for example a hammer can be used in building work such as brick laying, a hammer can also be used when working with wood.
