Salman Khan, superstar with a great 'Being Human' heart was on the sets of 'Fugly' for shooting of a song. His appearance in the song was actually a special appearance. But when he realized that he have less screen time than Akshay Kumar in the song he left the set.
The director of 'Fugly' tried talking with him, but he didn't get a positive response from Salman Khan. A close source to Salman told, "Salman didn't know about the details of the song and was briefed when he arrived on the sets."
Leaving everyone in shock Salman simply walked out of the sets.
Director AR Murugadoss rewrote the rules of Bollywood box office with his very first Hindi film Ghajini. The Aamir Khan, Asin starer was a remake of his own Tamil film of the same name, and in many ways it was the humongous success of this film, which began the trend of the 100-Crore-club in BTown. Ghajini was followed up with several successful remakes of Tamil and Telugu blockbusters. But off-late the South remakes formula has hit a roadblock, and the response to some recent releases in this format has been underwhelming. This week AR Murugadoss gears up for the release of his second Hindi film. Once again a remake of his own successful Tamil thriller titled Thupakki, Holiday-A Soldier Is Never Off Duty stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. Murugadoss is literally a man of few words, but Akshay Kumar (who plays an Army officer in this film) insists that this soft-spoken filmmaker has a very active mind that is great at imagining violence. Indiatimes.com spoke to Murugadoss on what makes Holiday different from other remakes and whether at the time that has passed between Ghajini and Holiday, he has had to alter his approach towards the Hindi audience.
