Submitting your Business to Google Local Listings and Getting on the First Page, Pack 7
Most recently, I am in the process of starting my own company, but that will be a whole separate article.
I did a quick search online, how to submit your business to Google, on behalf on my mom. The 2nd listing that came up was "how to not submit your business to Google". It recommended writing an article for this site and I figured I would give it a go and I will come and edit it with results!
My mom for 22+ years has owned a maid and housekeeping company. Its called "The Cleaning Ladies - a North Miami Maid company". I told her that I wanted to set out on a mission and get her listing as a top spot in 30 days.
Heres the steps I have taken according to best online practices. And I hope it helps you too!
She owns a Maid company so I figured to help out organically, I would get her a proper Google searched domain. I came up with http://www.NorthMiamiMaid.com so that she would come up for that search. Google has yet to crawl her site. I created her a Google place page and inserted it into her site. You should check and see for your own business if owners have verified their listing. Considering my mom owns a maid service here, most listings are still unverified here. However, the top listings are all spam, keyword stuffing.

take a look at the google place page, and think about SEO when designing your site domain. they say it takes six weeks to get listed on Google but I want to see if if possible to get on the home page in 30 days or less.
The original article that I read said to make sure your ezine article has at least 300 words. This is greater
It really is such a challenge for people to get their sites ranked. So much competition out on the internet. Its fun learning. There are some really great resources out there but there is always more to learn!
