How to Fit a Wreath for a Flower Girl
- 1). Measure the flower girl's head. If you want the wreath to sit on top of her head, measure just the crown of her head; if you want the wreath to rest over her forehead, lower the measuring tape and measure the circumference of her head.
- 2). Purchase a wire circle, foam wreath or other circular item as close to the measurements as possible.
- 3). Try the wreath base on the flower girl before decorating to ensure that it fits properly.
- 1). Cut two lengths of floral wire. They should be at least two feet long so they fit around the flower girl's head.
- 2). Hold the two wires together and wrap them around the flower girl's head. Leave an extra two inches on each side where they meet. Trim any excess wire.
- 3). Wrap the two wires together with green floral tape. You want them to look like one thicker wire instead of two thin wires. It is okay to straighten the wire while you do this.
- 4). Twist the ends of the wire together to secure them. Use your hands to form the circle again.
- 5). Place the wire circle on the flower girl's head to ensure a proper fit.
