- 1). Flip up the engine cover latches and lift your Pony's engine cover to the upright position.
- 2). Remove the spark plug wire with a pair of pliers.
- 3). Loosen your Pony's belt drive tensioner with a socket set and slide it forward. Slip the old belt off the two pulleys.
- 4). Place the new drive belt over both belt pulleys, then slide the belt drive tensioner back until the belt is taut. Hold the belt taut as you tighten the belt drive tensioner bolts.
- 5). Replace your Pony's spark plug wire.
