Water is the most precious natural resources that the earth provided to mankind and all living organisms to sustain life.
Without water, no life would exist and the earth would turn into a barren planet.
As a living organism of the highest form, mankind has a big role in protecting the safety of our water source.
We should participate in all aspects of saving our water from wanton destruction by polluting it and illegal disposal of waste materials that may cause water pollution.
How can we put an end in polluting our water? This question is addressed to everyone, from the ordinary citizen to the most influential person in every country.
We must unite to a common cause to sustain a safe and potable water in every household.
Below are suggested ways to put an end to water pollution 1.
Proper disposal of household cleaning products, etc.
Cleaning products used in the household such as soap, thinners, and polishes should be placed in a safe bag and deposit in the garbage can or trash bin before transferring them to a recycle center.

Dispose used oils in a safe container.
Used cooking oils from big restaurants must be placed in safe container before transporting to landfill or donate them to oil recycling centers to be processed to a usable new products.
This action prevents water pollution rather than flushing them to a sewerage system that may destroy sewage and water systems when the oil hardens.

Proper disposal of biodegradable products.
All biodegradable products such as napkins, baby diapers and tampons must be placed in the proper garbage can that throwing them anywhere that may end up carried away to the river, streams and lakes and down to the ocean floor.
4.
Use organic products for lawns and garden plants.
Use organic fertilizers in fertilizing your lawns and garden plants and control water supply to avoid runoff of excess fertilizers that may cause washing away surplus water to rivers, lakes and ocean.
5.
Enforce the law strictly.
Every country has its own anti-pollution laws and regulations on water pollution.
People must demand government leaders a strict imposition of the law and with higher penalties to those caught not following it.
Every citizen must help the government by way of monitoring and reporting to authorities those that does not obey the law.
There's a big role of everyone to participate in ending water pollution.
If all the citizens strictly help the government in the imposition of all environmental laws, there's no reason why our water system could be spare from being abused and be free from pollution.
