Jobs homeschoolers can do to bring about income to help support the copious lifestyle of homeschooling, range from bizarre, to mundane! Shopping secondhand stores, for treasures to place on the internet for sale at a profit, is an example of a simple yet fun outing that can be a part of the educational training for your homeschool.
Perhaps your family likes outdoor living and recreation, you might find that collecting pine cones and making pieces of art or wreaths at Christmas time, would work into your school plan, while providing bits of income to add to the family cache.
Perhaps you are a family who loves taking photographs and you could be creative enough to put together calendars that you would sell at bizarres or online, or produce homemade frames for those great photographs you capture, then sell them as artwork.
For girls, making a quilt, as a group project, or crocheting hats and throws, perhaps booties and sweaters, learning to sew such things as aprons and baby bibs, these items of handwork will produce monetary return, as well as teach the homeschoolers valuable lessons on how to work with our hands, ideas that will otherwise fall by the wayside.
For boys, perhaps small woodworking projects such as birdhouses, or outdoor benches, made from cutout logs, or jointly the family can make twig furniture, whatever your particular family outings or forages afford, find a way to be creative in producing value from whatever it is you love to do.
The possibilities are only limited to your creative senses, as you become aware of the possibilities of making an income doing the things you love to do, you will find that more opportunity appears! By contemplating the things that bring you pleasure, you will know what it is that you want to do, to bring in a great return.
