Guide Review - AllWebMenus Professional 5

I'll say right at the start that this isn't a review of what this program can do simply because I had so much difficulty with the install process that I am never going to get the program to the point where I could ever see that. The install process for this product is so badly done that I advise staying well away from it. If you want to add fancy menus to your web page then learn JavaScript so that you can write the code yourself - this should be much much faster than the amount of time you would need to spend getting the program to install.

I can't confirm any of the claims on what this software can do because it is impossible to install. I will however comment on some of their claims. They claim to use separate JavaScript optimized for each browser - this is the wrong approach to take since JavaScript has no way to tell which browser it is running in and so the approach that they claim to have taken just isn't going to work.

I also get the impression that the menus generated by this software are heavily reliant on JavaScript to run and hence have major accessibility issues but since I can't actually get the software to install I have no way to confirm this.

Note that you could probably get the program to run to allow you to get an activation code if you were to actually run the program on an account with an administrator access but since you should only ever do that for installs, uninstalls and utility programs (which this software isn't) you have to basically disable security on your computer just to activate this badly designed program. If the program requires breaching security standards just to activate you have to wonder what other security issues it may have since the programmers appear to have no idea of system security.
