- 1). Install the suitcase weights and tire chains following the manufacturer's instructions. You will need both pieces of equipment to provide traction.
- 2). Install the snow blade's pivot support. Insert the pins on the hitch plates into the notches on the mounting brackets. Install the two included clevis pins and spring locking pins to hold everything. Tighten the screws on the mounting bracket.
- 3). Install the blade. Align the holes in the pivot support you installed in Step 2. Insert a channel pivot pin through the holes and secure with a spring locking pin.
- 4). Install the lift handle. Push the lift handle rod into the end hole of the channel assembly. Insert the lift link pin from the pivot support bracket into the lift handle rod. Secure with a spring locking pin.
- 5). Install the blade pivot rod. Either end of the blade pivot rod goes through the blade pivot shaft. The other end goes through the lift handle tube. Secure it with locking pins.
