You"ve Got to Know What You"re Buying!
This morning we received an email pitch letter hyping a coaching program that claims you can make millions following the program.
We've seen them before, these type of seductive pitches, as we're sure you have.
On the Internet outlandish claims are virtually the stock-in-trade of the multi-million dollar earners and what they are selling every time is money.
How to make it by the bushel-full like they did and do (or so they claim) with minimum effort (or so they claim).
It's a standard pitch-a king's wealth without having to put out the time and effort to master the subject matter-so their high-ticket price to join the program is very very alluring.
But this morning this particular hypester went overboard.
He claimed anyone could become a high ticket coach.
Well, not entirely, or rather not clearly.
His pitch is ambiguous and that's part of what makes it so smarmy.
It's not clear if he is selling the idea that anyone can become a coach or that anyone can start a coaching business.
And his ambiguity makes his words even more lethal.
He lured his prospective buyers by claiming they needed No prior experience (to be a coach or set up a business or maybe both), that they did NOT have to be skilled in business (presumably he will show you how to set up the business regardless of whether you're already a coach or not and have any sense of how to run a business-especially an implied multi-million dollar business), and you didn't have to waste your time because he'd have you up and running in a matter of hours-in less than 24 hours to be exact-guaranteed! In reality coaching is a very skilled practice that requires talent, experience, ongoing education, sensitivity, the objectivity to be a witness so you can see what a person needs, the intelligence to offer possible solutions, the capacity for sympathy to feel with the person who needs coaching, and a deep sense of integrity so that what you're doing is truly for the benefit of the other person.
Imagine Tiger Woods' coach not needing any prior experience as a golfer or golf coach.
Imagine someone with no prior experience setting up shop in less than 24 hours and calling him or herself a coach.
Imagine what kind of coaching you'd be likely to get from such a coach.
Then the hook is set even deeper with an appeal to the reader's hope of being a care-giver and making a living at it as well.
We're told that some people make six-figures in the first year and others make seven after two years-all helping people and "making a difference!"-the necessary appeal to altruism and implied spiritual well-being.
He also claims to have and will give to you a set of words that have such magic they can almost do all the work of building your business-or rather, your "empire" (to sweeten the promise and set the hook even deeper) for you.
That's the effortless part.
He drops big coaching names like Tony Robbins and said he had their secrets that they never shared and he would give them to those who buy.
It's very difficult to believe that closely held secrets will be made public as a kind of bonus.
Not very credible but if you've bought everything that preceded this point then this "secrets"point no doubt sounds very attractive.
And finally you are assured that should you have any internal roadblocks like doubt, or potential inactivity so you can't get either your coaching or your coaching business up and running, he has techniques that will eliminate those blocks forever.
So it's all easy as pie and tons of money awaits you.
Just sign here.
Just believe and pay and voila!!! - a coaching career or a coaching business or both in a snap.
Beware the Hypester! Beware the Seduction! You got to know what you're buying!!
