- 1). Fill a spray bottle with full-strength ammonia.
- 2). Open the Maytag oven door and spray the glass evenly with full-strength ammonia. Allow it to sit undisturbed for five to 10 minutes.
- 3). Scrub the glass with a nonabrasive scouring pad to loosen the softened residue. Rinse the scouring pad, and wipe the glass once again to remove any leftover debris.
- 4). Spray the glass door once again with ammonia, and wipe the glass clean with paper towels.
- 5). Close the Maytag oven door, and spray the exterior glass with ammonia.
- 6). Wipe the glass door with paper towels to remove any residue or fingerprints.
