- 1). Apply an abrasive bathroom or kitchen cleaner so that it covers the stained area.
- 2). Scrub the area with an abrasive cleaning pad. Reapply the cleaner and scrub again to remove the rest of the stain. Do not use steel wool.
- 3). Scrub the entire sink with the abrasive pad to blend in the finish, advises DuPont, after cleaning the stained area. Afterward, rinse the sink with water.
