- 1). Contact the manager at your nearest Hooters restaurant location. Ask if and when they do a Balloon Pop Lunch. Explain to the manager how you or your company would like to participate by providing promotional prizes for the next Balloon Pop event.
- 2). Invite colleagues and professional friends to the Balloon Pop Lunch. Explain that each person receives a prize-filled balloon with promotions from Hooters and other local companies. Ask them to network to anyone they know in the industry to increase attendance.
- 3). Bring the gift certificates or discount vouchers to the Hooters manager a day or two before the lunch. Return to the restaurant at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the Balloon Pop Lunch. Request a table for the group you expect to join you.
- 4). Greet all the business professionals in attendance. Introduce yourself and offer your business card to any new contacts. Encourage everyone to request that a waitress pop their balloon for them.
- 5). Ask your Hooters waitress to help you pop your balloon. Some servers use a pen, while others sit on them or squeeze them against their chests until they pop. Collect the prizes from the popped balloon.
