The common colours include cream, wheaten, red, sandy, grey and brindled.
Pure white and black is not permitted in some kennel clubs.
This breed is generally healthy and lives an average lifespan of about 15 years.
Some common health issues include cataracts, glaucoma, Legg-Perthes, luxating patella, blood disorders, kidney disorders, PRA, CMO, seizures, allergies, and thyroid problems.
