Mittens was born under the local museum and appeared to be the only offspring the mama cat gave birth to. Mittens would play outside all day in the rain, mud, and even snow. Mittens was into mischief constantly and her mama would have to swat her every so often. It was difficult trying to get her to come close enough in order to pet or hold her. Eventually, a trap was set and Mittens was taken to her new home after a stop at the Vet's office.

She is 8 months old and still runs rather than walk. What a delight. She now has a sister cat named Patches.
