The Masche Family Keeps It Together While the Gosselins Fall Apart

106 12
Move over, Jon and Kate – and take some of that drama with you! There’s a new sextuplet family on the reality TV scene and they’re quickly winning the hearts of viewers. The Masche family (Bryan, Jennifer, and their six lively toddlers) are the stars of the new WEtv reality show Raising Sextuplets. Just like Jon and Kate Plus Eight, Raising Sextuplets reveals what it’s like for a married couple raising multiples.

But Bryan, 31, and Jennifer, 34, are no Jon and Kate -- which isn’t a bad thing considering recent headlines. Let’s take a look at the Gosselin’s potential competition, the Masches.

Bryan and Jennifer Plus Six
After battling fertility issues, Jennifer Marsche became pregnant with sextuplets in 2006. The babies were born on June 11, 2007. The Marshe kids (three boys and three girls) are: Savanna Jane, Bailey Elizabeth, Grant William, Cole Robert, Molli Grace, and Blake Nickolas. They are healthy, spunky toddlers with very different personalities.

Working Parents
Unlike Jon and Kate, both Bryan and Jennifer are working parents. Bryan is a pharmaceutical sales rep and Jennifer is a physician’s assistant. The couple, who live in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, also run a real estate investment company while Bryan is completing his MBA!

Bryan and Jennifer’s Love Story
Bryan and Jennifer met via email in January, 2003, when Bryan was enlisted in the Air Force and stationed in Kuwait. The couple met in person on Memorial Day, 2003 and got engaged just months later on Labor Day.

Bryan proposed to Jennifer on national television during an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game.

Weighty Problems
Bryan is battling the bulge after putting on sympathy weight during his wife’s pregnancy. Jenny, on the other hand, lost all of her pregnancy weight and still runs marathons!

A Likable Family
It isn’t hard to root for Bryan and Jenny, who are each likeable in their own way. Bryan is like the goof-ball dad who is still a big kid at heart. Jenny is the go-getter mom who is still down to earth. The kids are typically cute toddlers who are more than a handful. Overall, the family is relatable, likeable, and, most important, watchable.

Raising Sextuplets airs Thursday nights at 10 pm on WEtv.
