  "American Chopper" is a popular television show about a motorcycle building shop. The mechanics on the show are very charismatic, and the bikes they build are unique and fascinating. A game was created for the Playstation 2 to capitalize on the success of the show. You could build and race your own bikes against various opponents.
  
  

Burnout

• Burning out can seem like fun, but it can also be a waste of time. While it can create a pleasing look, it actually ends up slowing your biker down and can cost you lots of time. If you're not careful, burning out can also cause you to fall off of your bike, which results in losing precious style points that are needed to win every race. However, there is an easy way to turn a burn out into a beneficial thing. When you start a burn out press "R1" and "X" and quickly turn. This will cause your biker to do a quick doughnut. Not only will you recover from the burnout and make up some lost time, you'll also get style points for pulling off the doughnut.
  
  

Style Points

• One of the most important things to earn in this game is style points. Style points are earned by pulling off big stunts or by driving in a daring manner. Style points will be added up at the end of the race and can even help you win against an opponent that had a faster time. However, your opponents will be trying to get their own style points and will try to make you lose style points by knocking you off of your bike. You lose 200 points every time you fall off your bike. However, you can get a quick 150 points by hitting the R1 button just before they hit you. This is the brake button. Once your opponents hit a stationary object, they will fall off and lose 200 style points and lose a lot of time while you race off in the lead with 150 fresh style points.
  
  

Cheat Mode

• There are many tracks and bikes that you can only get by winning races and unlocking them. This adds to the replay value of the game and keeps you coming back for races long after you might have wanted to give up. However, it can also be frustrating for players who just want everything at the beginning so they can race every track and make their perfect bike. Luckily for these players, a "cheat" mode can unlock everything in the game at the very beginning. While playing the game, pause the game and press "R1," "R2," "L2," "L1," "R2," "L3" and "R3." A tone will chime, indicating that you have completed the password correctly. This cheat cannot be reversed. If you save your game with everything unlocked, it will stay unlocked.
