You Want to Be Wanted

103 6
You're facing a breakup and feelings of extreme rejection follow you around.
You may feel trapped with these feelings.
You have heard that your partner is not in love with you anymore and you may be trying every trick and tips you can come across to get back together.
But let me tell you what's really going on here.
NO ONE wants to be rejected.
Rejection is not our fundamental need.
Our fundamental need is to love and be loved.
So when you hear that your boyfriend/husband wants out of your relationship, it automatically threatenes your desire to feel love.
This is where many start to believe a lie.
They equate the rejection of a partner to feelings that they are not loved.
I believed this for many months after my breakup.
You are loved.
A breakup does not DEFINE you and it does not have the power to take from the TRUTH.
The only reason why you are chasing after your ex or wanting to get your partner back is because YOU believe a LIE.
You think that if you can get that person to love you, then you will feel complete.
You will feel loved.
This is not true.
Wanting to be wanted is natural but pursuing someone to try to MAKE them love you is unatural.
Have the sort of self respect that will cause ANYONE to feel irresistibly attracted to you without knowing why.
When I found this sort of confidence EVERYTHING in my life began to change.
