- 1). Launch Firefox.
- 2). Click the "Firefox" menu button at the top-left, and select "Set Up Sync."
- 3). Click "Create a New Account."
- 4). Configure your account credentials by entering your email address, entering a password for Firefox Sync and then click the check box beside "I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy." The server setting will remain configured as "Firefox Sync Server." Click "Next" when you have entered the required information.
- 5). Click "Save" to store your sync key on your computer in case you need to reference it when configuring other computers or devices with Firefox Sync. Click "Next."
- 6). Enter the garbled text in the input box to confirm that you are not a robot. Click "Next."
- 7). Click "Finish" to perform your first synchronization.
- 8). Repeat Step 1 through Step 7 on additional computers to sync your open tabs and other options to that instance of Firefox. At Step 3, click "Connect" instead of "Create a New Account" to log in to your existing Firefox Sync account.
