- 1). Power on the computer system after installing the graphics card. The operating system is going to turn on, but the computer will be unable to detect the new graphics card because the drivers are not yet installed.
- 2). Open the Internet browser on your computer and navigate to the video graphic card's manufacturing website.
- 3). Choose the "Support" option at the top of the page, then select either "Downloads" or "Drivers and Downloads" (this is going to vary depending on the website you are using).
- 4). Choose the kind of computer you are using (desktop or laptop), the video card manufacturing line and the model number. Click the operating system installed on the computer and choose "Download" next to the driver listed on the screen.
- 5). Double-click the downloaded driver and the installation wizard appears on the screen. Accept the license agreement, leave the installation location and name as-is, then choose "Install" to install the drivers for the graphics card onto the computer.
